GRADE ONE

How do young students learn self-confidence, determination and the ability to increase their concentration?

Who can teach them the value of teamwork, cooperation together with emotional and social development?

Is it important for them to know how to and why to listen?

The above skills are all valuable strategies that Grade One students have learnt to develop as they participated in the “Play Ball” program for this term. Some of the skills this program has focused on are:

The activities have been graded and adapted to the children’s age and skill levels. All primary students are involved and it is an excellent and fun way for children to be introduced to sports and P.E. (Physical Education).

Grade One students eagerly waited each Thursday for this program and they have greatly benefited as they achieved better understanding and a finer appreciation of P.E.

They now have a real motivation for sport and wish to give Shane a big thumbs up.
